VIDEO: Fairfield Driver Attempting to Park Hits Accelerator Instead of Brake, Crashes into Van
The woman was trying to park in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot when she accidentally hit the gas.
A woman who was attempting to park her car in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot on Black Rock Turnpike accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake pedal and as a result crashed into a van that had been traveling on the road.
The impact of the crash caused the van to flip over on its side.
DoingItLocal.com reports that the driver of the car was an elderly woman and both drivers were ticketed. The woman for failure to drive right and the man who was driving the van for operating without a license.
