Fairfield Eye Doctor Accused Of Sex Assault
Ian Roderick Gorovoy is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the presence of a child.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield eye doctor is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the presence of a child, according to police.
Ian Roderick Gorovoy, 35, of Fairfield, was charged with four counts of sexual assault and four counts of risk of injury to a child, police said in a news release. Gorovoy turned himself in Saturday at police headquarters, where he was processed and released on a no-contact protective order after posting a $150,000 bond.
Gorovoy studied at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, did his residency at the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine and works at Ophthalmic Surgeons of Greater Bridgeport PC, located on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield, according to the Bridgeport Hospital website. He was set to appear in court Monday.
