Fairfield Farmers Market Preps For 2023 Debut

The market, one of two weekend farmers markets in Fairfield, will be held every Sunday on Sherman Green, rain or shine

FAIRFIELD, CT — More than 30 area farms and small batch food producers are slated to participate in the 2023 Fairfield Farmers Market, which is scheduled to debut from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday and run into October.

The market will be held every Sunday during those hours on Sherman Green in Fairfield, rain or shine, with fresh seasonal vegetables, fruit and salad greens. In addition to produce, vendors will also offer other essential foods such as meat, eggs, fish, baked goods, bread, salami, honey, sweet treats, CBD products and more, according to organizers.

In addition to the town-run market on Sundays, the Greenfield Hill Farmers Market, which opened last month, runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays at 65 Hillside Road though Oct. 28.
