Fairfield FURY Softball Holding Tryouts in August

The Fairfield FURY is holding tryouts for the 2014-15 season for girls interested in playing travel softball at the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U levels. The FURY program consists of off-season hitting and fielding instruction and special clinics with area college programs, including University of Bridgeport and Fairfield University , tournament (USSSA, PONY, ASA) play throughout the year and participation in the Fairfield County Fastpitch Softball League season and championship tournament.

The tryouts will be conducted by FURY team coaches who have combined for more than 40 years’ experience coaching travel softball.

The tryouts begin on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. for the 10U team. Tryouts for 12U (11 and 12) will be Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. and on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 6 p.m. for the 14U/16U teams.

The makeup date for all levels is Sunday, Aug. 10 at 12 noon.

All tryouts will be held at Dougiello Park, 520 Hoydens Lane in Fairfield.
