NFL Player and former Boston College safety, Jamie Silva visits Sullivan Field.

Heads Up Football Ambassadors are former NFL players who give back to the sport that they love. Working with youth football leagues in their area, these men will support commissioners and coaches while helping parents and players understand the importance of developing sound fundamentals at an early age. Their passion and leadership show that those associated with the game’s highest level care deeply for the children who enjoy playing football and gain from its many rewards.
The Fairfield Giants Youth Football Program is accredited for being a top Youth Program in the New England Region. The program is not only the largest youth football, cheer, and flag organization in our area, but also the oldest and most established, running for 48 strong years.
James J. Silva is an American former college and professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League for three seasons. He played college football for Boston College, and earned consensus All-American honors.
