Fairfield Man, 73, Reports Car Stolen, Ends Up Arrested
The man reportedly had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Westport.

Fairfield, CT — A 73-year-old Fairfield resident returned home from an out-of-town trip late Friday night to find his new SUV was missing and he ended up arrested himself, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Richard Nagy, of Center Street, called police to report that his SUV had been stolen and responding officers discovered that he had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Westport for second-degree failure to appear on a sixth-degree larceny charge.
