Fairfield Man Accused Of Multiple Burglaries Held Without Bond: Report

A search of the suspect's home reportedly revealed he had guns and police badges, among other items.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A 32-year-old Fairfield man, who has been accused of dozens of burglaries in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, had several firearms and police badges in his possession, a search of his home revealed, according to authorities.

The Connecticut Post reports that during Patrick Ryan's arraignment in Bridgeport court on Tuesday, a judge ordered him to be held without bond.

When Fairfield police searched Ryan's Longview Avenue home, they not only found guns and badges, but also credit cards, gift cards, purses and other items, some of which are believed to have been stolen by Ryan.

Ryan faces a seven-year prison sentence when he returns to New Jersey, but his Connecticut case was continued to Sept. 21.

His public defender told the court that Ryan is in a drug treatment program in New Jersey, but that did not stop Superior Court Judge Maria del Pilar Gonzalez from ordering no release on bond.
