Fairfield Man Accused Of Public Indecency: Milford Police

Police say one of the incidents occurred at a local beach.

MILFORD, CT — Two men are accused of exposing themselves to people in Milford in two separate cases, police said.

First on May 22, police responded to the area of Woodmont Beach near Beach Avenue and Wall Street on a report of a man who had just exposed himself to people, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Roger Sherwood, 55, of Fairfield, who was found on the beach in his underwear, police said.

A victim/witness said she and her female friends were walking in the area and Sherwood faced them and exposed himself to them and began to touch himself, police said. Sherwood is charged with public indecency and second-degree breach of peace.

In an unrelated incident, police said also on May 22, officers responded to a Seeman's Lane apartment building on a report of a man who had just exposed himself in public while on the back porch of his apartment, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Larry Evola, 60, of Seemans Lane, who is accused of exposing and touching himself in view of other people in the area, police said.
