Fairfield Man Sentenced For String Of Car Burglaries: Report

The man pleaded guilty to five car burglaries that occurred in South Norwalk.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield man has been sentenced to eight years in prison in connection to a string of car burglaries that occurred in South Norwalk, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Edwin Sanchez, 29, pleaded guilty to five car burglaries that occurred in South Norwalk in 2016. He has been in custody since his arrest on November 17, 2016.

In addition to the prison sentence, Sanchez was ordered to pay restitution, to undergo substance abuse evaluation and counseling, and to have no contact with complaining witnesses, according to the Post.
