Fairfield Man Sentenced For Home Burglary, Watching Sleeping Girl
The man broke into a home and was found watching a girl sleep in her bedroom while he was wearing only a bathrobe and a T-shirt, police said

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for a disturbing incident in which he broke into his neighbor’s home and was found watching a juvenile sleep in her bedroom while he was wearing only a bathrobe and a T-shirt, according to the Connecticut Post. Eric Kusheba, 36, was arrested last Sept. 22 after police responded to a 911 call at a Tunxis Hill Road home around 5:30 a.m. reporting that there was a male intruder inside of their home and that the family had him trapped.
Responding officers found Kusheba, who police said forced his way into the home by cutting a screen window, wearing only a bathrobe and a T-shirt. After entering the home, Kusheba went to the girl’s bedroom and watched her sleep while he was wearing a robe without any pants or underwear, police said at the time of the arrest.
During a subsequent search, police found that Kusheba was in the possession of a set of brass knuckles in the pocket of his robe. Police also found images of child pornography on Kusheba's cellphone during a search at police headquarters, according to police.

The Post reports Kusheba was also ordered to be placed on special parole after serving the prison sentence due to the “disturbing nature of the crime.” He was additionally told by the judge to have no further contact with the victims and the brass knuckles, along with the body armor and set of handcuffs he was found to have, were ordered to be destroyed, according to the Post.
