Fairfield Man Struck Woman In Face, Head: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A Fairfield man, Michael Ignatowski, 47, of Black Rock Turnpike, is accused of assaulting a woman while in Milford, police said.

At 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 5, police responded to a local hotel for a domestic violence incident. Police said Ignatowski "struck his girlfriend several times in the face and head area," police said.

Ignatowski is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He is scheduled to appear in court today.
