Fairfield MOMBies Thrill With Flash-Mob Performance: Video

The "MOMbies" returned for another epic performance on Halloween and are raising money for a good cause. Watch their 2017 performance here.

FAIRFIELD, CT — One year after thrilling trick-or-treaters with a surprise flash-mob performance of Michael Jackson’s ā€œThriller,ā€ the Fairfield MOMbies treated residents with an encore performance on Halloween night. After last year’s performance garnered more than 36,000 views on YouTube, creator, founder, and MOMbie, Terry Davis was inspired to use the attention for a bigger cause.

ā€œThe 2017 MOMbies decided that this year’s dance will honor patients everywhere and raise funds for breast cancer research,ā€ according to the group’s page on CrowdRise. ā€œWe dedicate this project to a dear friend and fellow MOMbie, as well as to all of the special people in each of our lives.ā€

More than $3,500 has been raised as of Wednesday afternoon (UPDATE: Nearly $9,700 has been raised as of early Saturday morning). Be sure to check out this year’s performance (with a couple of surprises around the 2-minute, 30-second mark) at the end of this story and visit the CrowdRise page here.
