Fairfield Police Charge Man with Assaulting Pregnant Girlfriend

The woman reportedly confronted the man about relations he had with other women while picking him up at the train station.

A Trumbull man is accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend after she confronted him with accusations of relations he had with other women while she was picking him up at the Fairfield train station last December, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Matthew Robinson-Wald, 28, of Old Town Road in Trumbull, was arrested on a warrant Saturday for the Dec. 2 incident.

Robinson-Wald accused the woman, who was four months pregnant at the time of the alleged assault, of coming after him with a knife, according to the Post.
