Fairfield Police Conduct Investigation Near Redding And Verna Hill Roads

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield police are conducting an investigation Thursday night in the Redding Road and Verna Hill Road area, authorities announced on Facebook.

The nature of the investigation was not disclosed.

"We are sharing this information so residents who may notice the police presence are aware that there is no threat to the public at this time," officials said.

"We appreciate the community’s patience as officers and investigators continue their work. Additional information will be provided when feasible."
