FAIRFIELD – A Candlewood Road homeowner reported to police that her home was burglarized sometime during the morning hours on 6/9/20. That morning police responded and discovered a door leading the homes garage had been damaged. Missing from the home was a power tool taken from the garage.

Later the same day the homeowner received a text message from a known party who admitted to breaking into the Candlewood Road home and taking the tool. That information was provided to police. Police spoke with the suspect, Salvatore Uscilla, who confirmed breaking into the home and stealing the power tool.
A Superior Court Arrest Warrant was issued charging Salvatore Uscilla with Burglary 3rd, Larceny 6th, and Criminal Mischief 3rd.

He was arrested on 3/13/21 and is scheduled to appear in court on 3/26/21.
