Fairfield Police Investigating Armed Robbery of Mobil Gas Station

Fairfield police are investigating the armed robbery of the Mobil Gas Station on the Post Road at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police said a man wearing a black ski mask and displaying a large dark-colored revolver threatened the clerk and fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash, the Fairfield Citizen reports.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing approximately 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weighing 250 to 270 pounds.
