Fairfield Police Searching For Answers After Boats Are Vandalized
At least eight boats and two trailers were found with words spray-painted on them at the South Benson Marina in recent weeks.
FAIRFIELD, CT āThe Fairfield Police Department on Monday announced that it is seeking the public's help in its investigation into the suspected vandalization of multiple boats at the town's South Benson Marina.
According to the police, officers responded to the marina ālocated at 00555 Turney Rd. ā on Dec. 17, and again last Thursday. There, they found at least eight boats and two trailers that were spray-painted with similar markings and tags, which included words like: Yeet/Yeex, Mot/Mox, Sano and Reckr.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Detective Bureau at 203- 254-4840.

Anonymous tips can be submitted via the Fairfield Police Department mobile app or by texting the keyword FPDCT plus the message/tip to 847411 (Tip411). Tips can also be submitted online.
"When sending a tip by text message: text keyword FPDCT to 847411, add a space, type in the tip information, and hit send," the police department said as a reminder.
