Fairfield Police Seek Driver Who Fled Scene After Rear-Ending School Bus

There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash.

Fairfield police are seeking the driver of a vehicle that rear-ended a school bus on the Post Road Thursday morning and fled the scene, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports that only the driver and an aide were on the bus at the time of the accident, about 9:15 a.m., and the aide suffered a head injury.

The vehicle was described as a blue Jeep Sahara and it sustained significant damage to its front end in the crash, according to the Citizen.
