Fairfield Police Seek Public's Help in Catching Condom Thief

A man stole $360 worth of condoms from a Fairfield store late Wednesday night.

Fairfield Police are asking for the public’s help in catching another condom thief, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports a man stole $361 worth of condoms from the Walgreen’s on Grasmere Avenue Wednesday night around 11:45 p.m.

The man allegedly put several boxes of condoms into a hand basket, ran past the cashier and out of the store and into a Ford Escape that was waiting in the parking lot in a handicapped spot near the store’s entrance, according to the Citizen.

It was the second time in less than a week that hundreds of dollars worth of condoms were stolen from a Fairfield store.

A man was arrested last Friday for allegedly stealing nine boxes of Trojan Magnum condoms, valued at $255, from the CVS on Grasmere Avenue.
