Fairfield Prep Reaches SCC Lacrosse Semifinals

Griff McGoldrick and Brendan Rotanz each scored five goals, as Fairfield Prep routed Hamden, 17-8 , Monday in the quarterfinals of the Southern Connecticut Conference boys' lacrosse playoffs.

Kevin Brown chipped in with four assists for the Jesuts (13-4), who dropped their final two regular-season games to Cheshire and New Fairfield.

Quinn Kenning  scored two goals for the Jesuits, and  Pat Hayes , Connor Kelly,  Connor Byrne added one apiece Matt Brophy.

Fairfield Prep out-shot the Green Dragons, 35-15.

The Jesuits are pointing to a championship game rematch against Cheshire, which defeated Fairfield Prep, 9-8, last week at Alumni Field.

First up is Wednesday's semifinal against Guilford.
