Fairfield Prep's Carr Falls In State Open Tennis Final
Loses to Trinity Catholic's Dante Terenzio, 6-1, 6-2
Too much Dante Terenzio.
That's what Fairfield Prep's Ryan Carr experienced Tuesday in the final of the state Open tennis championship.
The Trinity Catholic standout, who is headed to Louisville in the fall on the tennis scholarship, defeated Carr, 6-1, 6-2, at Hamden High School to defend his Open title he also won last year.

Last week, Terenzio won the CIAC Class S singles title. Carr lost in the quarterfinals of the Class LL tournament.
