Fairfield Restaurant Owner Charged in Domestic Dispute: Report

Sukavitt Chaimahavong, the owner of Whoopie Thai Cuisine on Black Rock Turnpike, was arrested after a dispute with his wife at the restaurant on Sunday night, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Chaimahavong, 46, and his wife were involved in an argument when he allegedly ripped out the restaurant’s credit card scanner and left and she was afraid he might hurt her.
