Fairfield Restaurant Week Returns Next Week

The popular two-week event has local eateries offering prix fixe meals and discounts.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Restaurant Week returns for two weeks beginning on Monday, Aug. 24, with more than two dozen local restaurants offering special menus and discounts.

The 15th annual event will run through Sunday, Sept. 6, according to Fairfield's Office of Community and Economic Development.

Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe or other discounted lunch and dinner menus during the event.

"What a great way to wrap up the summer before back-to-school," Mark Barnhart, Fairfield's director of community and economic development, said in a statement. "We’re thrilled to be once again offering a summer edition of Fairfield Restaurant Week, which continues to be one of our most popular and highly anticipated events. We hope that residents and visitors alike will be able to enjoy and support the many terrific restaurants that Fairfield has to offer."

Participating restaurants are Artisan Southport, Barcelona Wine Bar, Blackstones Grille, Boca Grille and Raw Bar, Bodega, Centro Ristorante, Cosetta, Esh Modern Mediterranean, Flipside Burgers & Bar, Geronimo Southwest Grill and Tequila Bar, Gray Goose, Haven Hot Chicken, Joylark Kitchen, Little Pub, Malibu, Mecha Noodle Bar, Old Post Tavern, Panicale Pasta, Riko’s Pizza, Romanacci Fairfield, Ryebird, Saigon Snack Bar, Shumi Revolving Sushi, Sophie’s Pizza Bar, South Bay, Taj Indian Cuisine Fairfield, The Sinclair and Vespino Pizza Restaurant.

"We wanted to highlight the many things to do in Fairfield, as well as places to eat, to create more of a 'night out' experience," Barnhart said.

"The town appreciates the support of our community partners for featuring a spectacular array of events and activities in conjunction with Fairfield Restaurant Week," he added.
