Fairfield Seeks Volunteers For 9 Commissions, Committees & Boards
Fairfield has "a highly talented pool of residents eager to volunteer their time and talent" to help out, says First Selectman Bill Gerber.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield is currently looking to fill open volunteer positions on nine different commissions, committees and boards, including the Golf and Historic District commissions, and the Library Board of Trustees.
"Fairfield is blessed with a highly talented pool of residents eager to volunteer their time and talent for the betterment of our community," said First Selectman Bill Gerber in a statement.

Many of the available positions are appointed by the First Selectman, but some require approval by the "Board of Selectmen, the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) and/or another board or commission."
Those interested in joining a commission, committee or board must fill out this form to be considered.

"We always recommend that potential candidates attend a meeting of the board they are interested in," the town's website reads. "All meetings are open to the public and you are welcome to attend."
