WATCH: Fairfield Sexual Predator Arrests Featured on Chris Hansen’s New Show

FAIRFIELD, CT — Investigative TV journalist Chris Hansen famously worked in conjunction with the Fairfield Police Department to set up a sexual predator sting operation last October that nabbed 10 suspects. Now, you can see how it all unfolded in episodes of Hansen’s new show, Crime Watch Daily.

In the four-day sting operation, the men went to a Fairfield house to meet up with someone they believed was either a 13-year-old boy or a 12-year-old girl they had been communicating with via the Internet and text messages.

A decoy was in the house along with Hansen and police officers.

The first Hansen vs. Predator episode features the case of Stratford’s Stephen Buchanan, 27, who was on the list to become a Stratford police officer and was a member of the Connecticut National Guard at the time of his arrest.

In the episode, officers find a loaded, legally registered, gun, a roll of duct tape, a knife, and a box of condoms in Buchanan’s car.

Hansen was given rare access to the booking process and the moment when Buchanan decides to confess. Portions of Buchanan’s time in the interrogation room and confession are shown in the episode (watch it below).

Another episode features the arrest of Joshua Colon, a 32-year-old plumber from New York City, who drove more than 50 miles in the rain to the Fairfield home to meet up with a girl he thinks is 12 years old.
