FAIRFIELD, CT — Tropical Storm Henri is forecast to pass through Connecticut on Sunday, with up to 50 mph wind gusts and as much as 6 inches of rain expected to cause widespread outages and flooding in Fairfield.

Emergency shelter: Fairfield Warde High School, 755 Melville Ave., will open 8 a.m. Sunday as a shelter and charging station. There will also be a mobile command post in the Old Navy parking lot, 2215 Black Rock Turnpike.
