Fairfield Student Raises Money For Pediatric Cancer Research

The Fairfield resident participated in the University of Delaware's 12-hour dance marathon fundraiser.

Fairfield’s Isabella Corrales was among 250 participants in one of the nation's largest university dance marathon fundraisers on Sunday, March 13.

University of Delaware students joined the fight against childhood cancer with UDance, the university's most-popular student-run philanthropy, according to a press release from the school.

The organization celebrated a year's worth of fundraising during its 10th annual 12-hour dance marathon.

Students raised a total of $1,701,667.81, for the Wilmington, Delaware-based Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.

UDance is the fifth largest college dance marathon in the country, according to the school.
