Fairfield U. Hosts NCAA Lacrosse Finals In East Hartford This Weekend

Division 1 Semis are Saturday; Divisions 2 & 3 Finals are Sunday; Division 1 Finals are Monday. All games are at Pratt & Whitney Stadium.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The 2022 NCAA® Men’s Lacrosse Championships are taking place in East Hartford this weekend, where the best teams in the country will compete for a national championship. The NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships will take place May 28-30, hosted by Fairfield University at Pratt & Whitney Stadium.

The championship field for D1, D2, and D3 is set. Returning this year, Maryland (D1) and RIT (D3) will look to bring the trophy back to their hometowns. Maryland was defeated last year by Virginia in the D1 Championship, while RIT was crowned the D3 National Champion. The tournament schedule is as follows:
Saturday, May 28
o Division 1 Semi-Finals: 12:00 PM EST (7) Cornell vs (6) Rutgers
o Division 1 Semi-Finals: 2:30 PM EST (1) Maryland vs (5) Princeton
Sunday, May 29
o Division 3 Finals: 1:00 PM EST Union vs Rochester Institute of Technology
o Division 2 Finals: 4:00 PM EST (1) Mercy vs (1) Tampa
Monday, May 30
o Division 1 Finals: 1:00 PM EST

Back this year, Fan Fest will be held on Saturday from 9:00-3:00 PM, Sunday from 10:00-
4:30 PM, and Monday 10-1:00 PM. Fan Fest will include live music, lacrosse demonstrations,
