Fairfield Warde Football to Team With Operation Hope

For all remaining home games, players will be collecting donations for Operation Hope's food pantry

The Fairfield Warde High School football program has teamed with Operation Hope, a organization in Fairfield that helps the homeless.

Starting with Friday's game against New Canaan and all subsequent home contests, the Mustangs players will be collecting donations of canned and dry goods for Operation Hope's food pantry on Old Post Road.

Specific items needed can be found on Operation Hope's website, www.operationhopect.org. Anyone willing to contribute can look for the "Mustang Truck," which will be parked by the concession stand and staffed by the high school's freshmen football team.
