Fairfield Warde's Ryan Shines in Class L track meet

Mustangs' senior wins the 1,600 and 3,200 meters in New Britain

Fairfield Warde's Meg Ryan won a pair of events Wednesday in the CIAC Class L track and field championship at New Britain's Willowbrook Park.

The senior finished first in the 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters, marking the second straight year she was a double winner in this competition.

Ryan, who will attend Notre Dame in the fall,  elected to skip the 800 meters, an event she also won at last week's FCIAC meet.
