Fairfield Woman Accused Of Stealing $1,000 Phone At YMCA: Police
The iPhone 11 was stolen off a locker room chair while the victim was showering at the Fairfield YMCA, according to police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield woman is charged after she was accused of stealing a $1,000 phone from the women's locker room at the Fairfield YMCA, according to police.
Hoja Kim, 68, of Guydan Lane, was issued a misdemeanor summons Jan. 19 for fourth degree larceny, a police report said.
The iPhone 11 was stolen off a locker room chair while the victim was showering at the YMCA, 814 Old Post Road, according to police. The victim used the Find My iPhone App to determine her phone had been on South Benson Road near Craig Place, but had since been turned off, police said.

The victim described the suspect to police, and a sergeant saw a woman matching the suspect's description in an SUV in the area where the phone was last located, according to the report. The sergeant stopped the SUV and a search of the vehicle revealed the phone, hidden under the driver's seat, police said.
Kim is set to appear in court Friday, according to police, and the phone was returned to the victim.
