Fairfield Woman Charged with Choking Her Mother

A 23-year-old woman allegedly tried to strangle her mother during an argument over the severity of her intoxication and about a cell phone, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Fairfield police arrested Kelsey Mackenzie, 23, of Lookout Drive North, after her mother was able to break free from being choked and called 911.

Mackenzie came home, while apparently intoxicated, around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday and began arguing with her mother, according to the Citizen.
