Fairfield's 2 Universities Rank Among CT's Best: Niche.com

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University, both in Fairfield, are ranked among Connecticut's top 12 colleges, and also among the dozen best college values in the state, according to new reports by Niche.com.

Fairfield University is Connecticut's sixth-best college, and the seventh-best value in the state.

Sacred Heart University is ranked Connecticut's 12th-best college, and 12th-best value.

Niche studied several factors for its value rankings, including average return on investment by age 30, median earnings one year after graduation, and percent of graduates employed two years after graduation. Click here to view Niche's methodology.

As for its ranking of the best in Connecticut, Niche conducted "rigorous analysis of academic, admissions, financial, and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and alumni."

Yale University was deemed the Connecticut's best college and best value, and the New Haven-based institution was also ranked among the top 10 nationally in both categories.
