Fairfield's Castle On Post Sponsors Premium Poinsettia Plant Sale
The Irish pub on Post Road is hosting a charity benefit to help ovarian cancer patients at Clearity.
Ovarian Cancer Survivor Noreen Forde is organizing a Holiday Poinsettias Plant Sale in Fairfield as a way of giving back to Clearity, an organization that helped her through some difficult days. She wants to help other women with ovarian cancer have access to these exceptional programs.
"Poinsettias have been a holiday tradition so it is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season and help others," stated Noreen Forde. "While I am still in treatment for recurrent ovarian cancer, I want to raise funds to help other women who are diagnosed with this terrible disease," Noreen added.
Patrick Clyne, owner of The Castle on Post Restaurant & Pub, is allowing his tent adjacent to his restaurant and pub to be used for the pick-up of flowers. Noreen teamed up with Vaiuso Farms of Branford to get the best plants possible.
