Fairfield's Favorite Restaurant Is Brick Walk Tavern: Patch Poll

FAIRFIELD, CT — The results are in and Fairfield Patch readers have chosen their top spot to eat in town. More than 650 votes were cast and the winner is (drumroll, please) … Brick Walk Tavern.

This upscale eatery, which opened in 2018 and serves elegantly presented comfort food in the heart of downtown Fairfield, received more votes than any of the other nearly 50 nominees, defeating runner-up Centro Ristorante & Bar by eight votes. Other local favorites included Luigi’s Restaurant and Luna Azzurra.

Readers who nominated Brick Walk Tavern for our Patch poll praised the restaurant’s innovative chef, exciting and high-quality food, and accommodating staff.

“Their menu is consistently changing while keeping the top favorites on the board,” one person wrote, while another cited the “interesting dishes, good drinks, good people.”

In addition to plates of short-rib pasta, black sea bass and cassoulet, Brick Walk Tavern offers creative cocktails such as the apple-cinnamon Manhattan, plus a variety of wine and beer.
