FAIRFIELD, CT — A fallen tree was reported southbound on Route 15 in Fairfield Wednesday morning, which resulted in the temporary closure of the right lane, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The roadway has since been cleared and reopened. The incident was reported at about 11:15 a.m. between Exits 44 and 42.
