Press release from Fairfield CARES:
Nov. 3, 2021
On November 4th at Greenfield Hill Congregational Church in Fairfield, former major league pitcher John Trautwein, from the Will to Live® Foundation, will share his personal story of losing his son Will to suicide in 2010 with no sign or warning. To raise awareness about teen suicide and the challenges our teens face in today’s world, John and his wife Susie created the Will to Live Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to encourage kids to “talk about it” and serve as Life Teammates® as they encounter life’s sorrows and joys.
