Video Released Of Knife-Point Robbery In Fairfield: UPDATE
Police are continuing to investigate the recent armed robbery of a gas station.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Police have released surveillance video of the recent armed robbery of the Star Gas Station (see the video below). Police say that at about 9:15 p.m. on March 25, a man armed with a knife entered the gas station, located at 350 Jennings Rd. in Fairfield, and demanded cash from the clerk.
The clerk opened the cash register and backed away while the suspect reached over the counter and took the cash drawer out of the register. The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran out of the store heading eastbound on Jennings Road, according to police.
Police describe the suspect as a tall thin male, with light to fair skin, who was wearing a purple bandana wrapped around his face with a gray-hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, work-style boots, and was carrying a knife.
