A Happy Tail: Stolen Ice Cream Cow Found

Daesy the fiberglass cow was reported stolen from a Fairfield ice cream shop over the weekend in an apparent Halloween prank.

The case of the missing fiberglass bovine has a happy ending.

Fairfield Police located Daesy, the popular fiberglass cow that was stolen from Sunny Daes Ice Cream over the weekend in an apparent Halloween prank, on Monday afternoon.

The HAN Network, which was setting up to cover the FCIAC boys’ soccer semifinals, reports that Fairfield Police responded to the back of Fairfield Ludlowe High School around 1 p.m. where Daesy was located.

Daesy was dragged through a wooded area, according to the HAN Network.

Police then loaded Daesy, which weighs about 400 pounds and is reportedly valued at $1,500, into a truck to bring her home.
