Hit-And-Run Suspect Who Fled Scene Apprehended In Fairfield
The person is suspected of hitting a pedestrian and fleeing.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A suspect who fled a hit-and-run in Bridgeport was apprehended in Fairfield, according to Bridgeport police. A pedestrian was struck just before 9:30 a.m. Monday near Park Avenue and Washington Terrace, Bridgeport police said in a post on Twitter. Bridgeport and Fairfield officers worked together to stop the suspect. The victim, whose injuries were not life threatening, was taken to a hospital.
Around 0926hrs A pedestrian was struck near the intersection of Park Avenue and Washington Ter. The suspect fled however, Bridgeport police assisted by Fairfield police were able to apprehend the suspect in FF. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Taken to hospital
