FAIRFIELD, CT — (Contributed press release): Bring your family to the Fairfield Museum before or after Fairfield’s annual Tree Lighting event on Friday, Dec. 1. The Holiday Express Train Show grand Opening Night celebration will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the Museum will also welcome visitors to its new and playful exhibition, Winter Wonderland!
Visitors on Opening Night will be the first to view the annual show and to delight in the magic of the model trains and winter landscapes surrounding them. Cider, cookies and a craft activity will be part of the fun.
“The Holiday Express Train Show is a special tradition here at the Fairfield Museum,” said Christine Jewell, director of education and community programs. “Opening Night is a community favorite, and it’s full of old-fashioned holiday fun.”
