Home Burglarized In Broad Daylight In Fairfield: Report

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Police are investigating after a Valley Road home was burglarized in broad daylight over the weekend, according to the Fairfield Citizen. A neighbor alerted police to the burglary at about 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The Citizen reports neighbors reported seeing a suspicious Jeep Cherokee in the area and two men leaving the house carrying various items.

Police found that the house was forcibly entered and rummaged through and about $30,000 worth of watches, baseball memorabilia and jewelry were among the items stolen, according to the Citizen.
