Home Invasion Suspect Uses Fake Gun to Threaten and Rob 82-Year-Old; Cops Say

Fairfield Police say the suspect used a fake gun to threaten the 82-year-old homeowner.

Fairfield police say Pedro A. Bruno, 32, of Bridgeport is accused of breaking into a home on Warwick Avenue around 4 p.m. Wednesday, the Connecticut Post reports.

Once inside, Bruno allegedly swiped jewels, a wallet, cash, and keys.

He came upon the 82-year-old homeowner and yelled, “Don’t move,” and he appeared to have a gun, the Post reports.

It was later determined to be a fake gun. Bruno was arrested walking away from the scene by police.
