Home Invasion Suspect Watched Girl Sleep While He Was Wearing Bathrobe And No Underwear: Fairfield Police

FAIRFIELD, CT — A 36-year-old man is accused of breaking into a Fairfield home and watching a juvenile sleep in her bedroom while he was wearing a bathrobe without any pants or underwear on during a home invasion early Friday morning, according to police. Fairfield Police received a 911 call from a Tunxis Hill Road residence shortly after 5:30 a.m. reporting that there was a male intruder inside of their home and that the family had him trapped.

Officers responded to find a man, who allegedly forced entry into the residence, dressed in only a bathrobe and a t-shirt, according to Lt. Robert Kalamaras. The suspect was identified as Eric Kusheba. (To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Kusheba is accused of cutting a screen window to force entry into the home. Kalamaras said Kusheba proceeded to enter the bedroom of a sleeping juvenile female resident, where he watched her sleep while he was wearing a robe without any pants or underwear.

During a subsequent search, police found that Kusheba was in the possession of a set of brass knuckles in the pocket of his robe. Police also found images of child pornography on Kusheba’s smart phone during a search at police headquarters, according to Kalamaras.

Kusheba was arrested on charges of home invasion, carrying a dangerous weapon, voyeurism, second-degree stalking, third-degree criminal mischief and possession of child pornography.
