Intoxicated Pedestrian Ticketed After Being Struck by Van in Fairfield: PD

The woman was struck while she was crossing the street.

Fairfield, CT — A 23-year-old woman was ticketed after she was struck by a van while crossing the street early Monday morning because police say she was intoxicated, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Johana Acosta-Quintanilla was struck while she was crossing Kings Highway East at about 1 a.m. while walking away from the Sky Hookah Lounge.

Police were already at the scene, responding to a report of a person passed out in the parking lot, according to the Citizen.
