Investigation Launched Into Shooting Outside Of Diner In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield police have launched an investigation into a report of shots fired that occurred during the early morning hours on Saturday outside the Andros Diner on Villa Avenue.

No injuries were reported in the 2:20 a.m. shooting, which occurred following a dispute at the 24-hour diner, according to Lt. Michael Paris.

Details were not readily available, though Paris said the shots were fired from a vehicle.

"We are actively investigating the incident," Paris told Patch.
