The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The out of alignment tax increases and lack of transparency from our town government require more voices to speak out against the unchecked spending and demand a true transparent presentation of the burden being put on our residents. More focus needs to be put on our education system to ensure the safety of our students and staff as well as the continuation of the magnet of our schools to attract new residents.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I have had children go through our school systems and have been active in the town; coaching youth sports and several years as the Vice Chair of Fairfield’s Land Acquisition Commission and involvement in non-profits supporting Fairfield.

Accomplishments:

I have spent decades working with a strong focus to bring diverse perspectives to a common vision and managing large budget and dealing with complex issues that affected companies’ culture and their bottom line. My involvement in various town-based organizations has introduced me to many Fairfield residents and have been exposed to many of the town’s issues and my neighbors’ concerns and varied perspectives.

Other issues:

A proper vetting and a balanced set of views being brought to the review of Fairfield Town Charter. The preparation of our town for the increased impact of global warming. Improvements in the walkability and keeping Fairfield a great place to live through excellent schools and keeping our community safe and thriving.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I have had the privilege of living in Fairfield for over 25 years, and during that time have met so many wonderful people, be it walking my dog, coaching your children in several sports, or eating at our many restaurants. I am a pragmatic leader who seeks a multitude of opinions to help continue the excellence of our town. I see our land, our property, and as a precious resource that we need to protect for future generations.
