The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
With our great schools, strong tax base, beaches and other terrific amenities, Fairfield is well positioned for the long-term. What concerns me most — and what I also hear most from my constituents — is our serious long-term challenges with flooding, both along the coast and along the Rooster River, and especially as our climate continues to change.
Accomplishments:
As a veteran RTM member and perhaps the best evidence of my effectiveness is that — I am proud to say — I am well respected by my peers on both sides of the aisle.
Other issues:
I am a strong supporter of our schools and of maintaining Fairfield's quality of life — while keeping spending in check and offering tax relief to our elderly and disabled residents.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I am a thoughtful and careful RTM member who pays close attention to the issues affecting our town. I don’t cast my votes based on party or politics. I follow my conscience and my understanding of what’s best for the town and especially the residents of District 5. The bottom line is that I strive to be fiscally responsible while also maintaining the values and services that make Fairfield one of New England’s best towns.
