Experience: 3 terms as Representative of District 7 in the Fairfield RTM

Family in government: No.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

My priorities on the RTM are to make good policy for Fairfield, scrutinize proposals to understand the data on which they are based, treat fellow representatives and others with respect, and and enact ordinances and take other actions that improve our town.

Accomplishments:

As an RTM representative over the past 6 years and I served as Majority Leader in 2017-2019 and Moderator since December 2019.

Other issues:

1. Quality education is essential in society, and the quality of Fairfield's schools is critical both for our children and for the value of our homes. Funding education is very important.
2. Fiscal responsibility is very important. I was disappointed that in a year of home revaluations that increased the tax basis the mill rate increased.
3. Environmental health is increasingly important. This includes flooding of the Rooster River and at the shoreline, recycling, and and all facets of environmental protection.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I have lived in Fairfield for 10 years. I love this town and want to continue to give back to it.
