Knife-Wielding Senior Confronts Man on Fairfield Beach: Report
The suspect, who is in his 70s, reportedly told the victim he had been looking for him for three years because of something he said to him.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A man in his 70s is accused of threatening another man with a knife at Jennings Beach, saying that he had been looking for him for three years because he once said something derogatory to him, according to the Fairfield Daily Voice.
The Daily Voice reports the man is known to lifeguards and beachgoers as “Jerry” and has a reputation of being argumentative and has been involved in other incidents in the past few years.
In this latest incident, the Fairfield Citizen reports "Jerry" told the victim that three years ago he told him to “eat (expletive)”and he then said “I should give this to you right now” and pulled the knife out of his pocket.

The incident was broken up by a lifeguard and the victim eventually said he recognized “Jerry” and admitted to being involved in an incident with him three years ago, according the Citizen.
The Daily Voice reports the victim denied ever saying anything derogatory to him.

“Jerry” continued to argue but left the scene before police arrived.
